An NPC Pokemon, Yun has a special nature.

Natures are the Pokémon analogue of personalities. Every Pokémon has one of 25 different natures from the games, or a special nature from VDex. A Pokemon's nature usually affects two of its stats, increasing the rate of one's growth while decreasing another, though there are 5 that raise and lower the same stat, resulting in a neutral ground. Natures also determine which type of berries a Pokemon likes and dislikes. This ties into stats as well, as the raised stat determines which type of berry is liked and the decreased stat determines which type is disliked. The stats that go with each berry are:

• Attack = Spicy
• Defense = Sour
• Special Attack = Dry
• Special Defense = Bitter
• Speed = Sweet

​Special Natures don't seem to affect the stats of the Pokemon that have them. Along with natures, Pokemon also have characteristics that also raise certain stats. It is unknown whether they affect VDex Pokemon in this way.
